Implant restorations
We offer several implant restoration options

Dental implants are the best way to replace missing teeth. They stand out for their strength, durability and natural look. To these advantages they add another: versatility. Implants can replace a varying number of teeth because they support a variety of restorations: a crown, a bridge or a denture.
At our clinic in Saint-Étienne, we offer several implant restoration options, so we can meet everyone’s needs.
Implants: a replacement option of choice
Implants are small titanium posts screwed directly into the jawbone to support one or more replacement teeth. After a process in several steps (assessment, surgery, fusion with the bone), an abutment is attached and, depending on the case, a crown, a bridge or a denture (complete or partial). One of the many advantages of implants is that they can be used in different situations: a variety of implant restorations can be placed on them, replacing any number of missing teeth.

The implant restoration options we offer
- Implant crown: a custom-made artificial tooth attached to a single implant. It is used when only one tooth needs replacing, or to replace a few teeth that are far apart;
- Implant bridge: used to replace a section of three or four missing teeth. Two implants are needed to support it;
- Implant-supported partial denture: it replaces a larger or smaller section of teeth. The denture (imitation teeth and gums made of acrylic) has a framework or attachments that secure it to a few implants (two to four on average);
- Implant-supported complete denture: it replaces all the teeth of a jaw. There are several types and models to suit each person’s needs. It is generally placed on four to six implants, depending on the model and the shape of the mouth.

Implant restorations: advantageous replacements in every situation
A solid single-tooth replacement
An implant crown replaces one missing tooth. It is an alternative to a fixed bridge, which serves the same purpose, but it is much stronger and more attractive. The implant also helps stimulate the bone, and there is no need to alter the neighbouring teeth to place it.
Stable, attractive multiple replacements
Implant bridges and partial dentures are more stable and fit better. This improves both how they look and how well they work: it is easier to chew and speak with a fixed restoration.
A more natural full replacement
An implant-supported complete denture combines several advantages. The jawbone keeps being stimulated by the implants, limiting bone loss. It also restores an attractive appearance and full function to the mouth, and it no longer moves or clicks.
